We want you to come and be a part of something memorable and eventful as you experience the 5th Annual MenuMen fundraiser event which shows off the culinary talents of celebrity and notable gentlemen from Gibson and surrounding counties. Held at the prestigious Cambridge Golf Club again this year, the event will surpass previous years as you will experience new tastes and smells of exquisite culinary dishes prepared by men who are competing for votes to be awarded the Best of Category trophies. From appetizers, entrees, side dishes and desserts, your taste buds will be delighted with the variety of samples you will try from these local celebrities (doctors, dentists, attorneys, politicians, businessmen, media personalities, pastors and educators) who prepare and serve their favorite recipes. In the elegant décor of Cambridge, you will be entertained by the wonderful sounds of music provided by the Red Wick Trio throughout the evening.
After everyone has had their fill of sampling the chef’s delights, you will be thoroughly entertained by Dennis Swanberg, a Christian comedian who will have you rolling with laughter as he tells his down-home tales and performs his impressions of well-known celebrities. View a sample of Dennis Swanberg online. As a motivational speaker, teacher, preacher, author, counselor, TV personality, and humorist, Dennis Swanberg knows just what it takes to make life a more pleasant road to journey down - with a laugh or two along the way.
MenUMen is the primary fundraiser for Doulos Family Services. The proceeds from MenUMen allow Doulos to continue to serve the many clients through programs that strengthen families. Your support of Doulos allows us to provide the on-going services, as well as develop new services that make an impact in the lives of families and children who are experiencing issues, such as child abuse/neglect, substance abuse, poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, etc.
