We want to invite you to join us for a memorable experience that will showcase the culinary talents of celebrity and notable gentlemen from Gibson and surrounding Counties. The 4th Annual MenUMen event will be an unforgettable evening for those who attend the fundraising event! If you thought last year's event was fantastic, you will be thrilled with the experience of the extra-sensory pleasures of sights, smells, tastes and sounds that will greet you as you enter the Cambridge Golf Club. When the doors open at 5:30 p.m., guests will be welcome with the entertaining sounds of dinner music provided by the Red Wick Trio.
Guests will immediately be pleased with the sight of an elegant decor. The aroma of a variety of culinary dishes prepared by "celebrity" chefs from around Gibson and surrounding Counties will overwhelm you. Finally, as the sampling begins, be prepared to have your taste buds satisfied by mouth-watering appetizers, side dishes, entrees and desserts prepared by local celebrities (attorneys, doctors, business owners/leaders, politicians, media personalities, ministers, and educators) who donate their time and talents to help Doulos Family Services raise funds to make an impact in the lives of families and children.
To cap off the evening, everyone will be thoroughly entertained by Taylor Mason, a comedian/ventriloquist/musican who performs 200-300 dates a year (including Carnegie Hall and Disney cruises) since he won Star Search in 1991. He stays out of the bedroom and out of the bathroom and concentrates on jokes and punch lines. He respects people’s differences and concentrates on getting laughs. View Taylor Mason's videos online.
MenUMen is the primary fundraiser for Doulos Family Services. The proceeds from the event benefit the many clients served through the services regularly provided by the staff of Doulos. Your support of Doulos allows us to provide the on-going services, as well as develop new services that make an impact in the lives of families and children who are experiencing issues, such as child abuse/neglect, substance abuse, poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, etc.
